Finished it up last weekend… and promptly lost the camera, so I couldn’t post a good update. Found the camera, so here it is!

Goldfish’s story:

A friend of mine loves animals, but isn’t very… nurturing. She once won a goldfish at the fair. Contrary to the norm of notoriously dying within a few days, this fish lived for months. Eventually, my friend got tired of taking care of the fish. She confessed to some other friends that she kinda wished it would kick the bucket or that someone would take it off her hands. I’m not sure how that played out, I think another friend took it. She hasn’t kept a fish since, so at least she learned something about herself from the experience!

Panda’s story:

Um… he doesn’t really have one. I was doodling, coming up with different marshmallow species, just to see what they might look like. Panda looked adorable, so I had to paint him!

Last week’s marshmallow went unposted, and for that I apologize. This marks the first time since January that a comic has been either really late or not posted. (I started this site a little over a year ago, but had no idea what to do with it, so I only posted a couple comics to start with)

I think I owe you a bit of an explanation into why things might be sporadic at best for awhile. I got a new job. I didn’t quit my old job. The new job is quite a ways from home, but the pros far outweigh the cons. Unfortunately, this means I work… a lot… to put it lightly. I expect I won’t have much time to think let alone work on marshmallows, hang out with friends and family, or even take care of my household. Any free time I do squeak in will be spent with friends and family.

Thankfully, I have a wonderful husband who will be assisting me. He won’t be able to take over the marshmallows, but there’s a lot of other stuff he can (and will) do.

Ok, now that’s out of the way, I am going to make an effort to keep updating the marshmallows as much as possible, and try to keep them on schedule (except for last week….)

I have a lot of Big Ideas for the marshmallows in the coming year and I’m planning on taking them to their first event next fall. I need to start planning now, actually.
